For our HQ in Bergamo we are looking for a:


IT Retail Solution Analyst

to capture corporate and local business needs coming mainly from Retail, Logistics and Controlling department and manage the end-to- end delivery of IT change initiatives related to Retail systems, including PoS (Point of Sale) systems, campaign management applications and SAP Apps. Such profesional will report into the IT Retail and CRM Application Manager.


  • Support the design of the Global IT solution over the Local Retails systems and govern the definition of technical specifications with the involved Retail IT suppliers/partners
  • Coordinate/supervise the different activities performed by external providers within the solutions development lifecycle
  • Participate in the testing stages from design, execution, integration and acceptance, providing adequate business process knowledge
  • Ensure that the business value of the IT solutions developed is consistent with the business outcome expected through all the development lifecycle and delivery iterations
  • Manage day to day Application Management (AM) operations for Retail systems, according to service management standard processes (e.g. ITIL processes) and by ensuring that all suppliers are delivering according to agreed SLA/terms and any impact due to major incidents is minimized towards customers and fixed as soon as possible
  • Ensure on/off boarding of service providers for AM, by supporting the proper hand over of knowledge and documentation.
  • Manage the AM ticketing tool and adopt proper ways to ensure usage by all defined business users


  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent one
  • from 2 to 4-year experience as IT Analyst or IT Consultants in Retail or Fashion Industry spent in a primary consulting firm or structured global retail companies
  • Proven experience on SAP Fiori Apps, SAP CAR and SAP HANA Sales and Retail functionalities. Experience on LS retail system could be a plus
  • Strong knowledge about Retail business process (DCC, Inventory, Sales and price management)
  • "Hands on" style on application management issues and topics, with clear commitment to understand/investigate/analyze/address/challenge/improve current status/problems
  • ITIL foundation or similar proven experience and knowledge preferable
  • A plus would be considered one or more of the following aspects: RDBMS management (SQL, mySQL), Idoc and job scheduler management
  • Fluent English, native Italian
